Help Joe and Susan Lopez rebuild after house fire

Hello, my name is Erin, daughter of Joe and Susan Lopez, and I am fundraising on their behalf.

On the morning of the 21st of January at 3:00 a.m., my parents faced a tragedy that none of us are ever really prepared for - their house in Watrous was on fire. They were able to get themselves and their two dogs, Casius and Ginger, and cats, Chiquita (and we hope Pinkie), out, and while my dad tried to fight the fire to the best of his ability, it spread too quickly and they lost everything.

They have lived in the Watrous/Valmora community for almost my entire life and have lived in that house since 2007. During that time, it became more than a house; it became their home. Right now, we are all at a loss because you never expect these things to happen to you or your loved ones.

Any support or help that you can provide, big or small, will go toward helping them to build up their lives again, through a new place to live, clothing, and essentials that we so often take for granted.

We are so thankful that they made it out safely and appreciate all of your generosity and prayers in these challenging and unfathomable times.
