Help Joe and Son Rebuild After Hurricanes

My 14-year-old son and his father have suffered crippling losses due to two recent hurricanes in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

On September 26, 2024, the powerful and record-breaking storm surge of Hurricane Helene quickly flooded their home within minutes, forcing them to climb on top of the dining room table to wait out the storm.

The damage was extensive, and cleanup will take time. Their days have been spent piling water-logged furniture, appliances, cupboards, and drywall outside to be hauled away.

Joe has also been trying to manage living arrangements and is working with his insurance company to figure out the next steps to take.

Less than two weeks later, Hurricane Milton caused further damage to the structure of the home, causing it to become uninhabitable.

Any amount you decide to donate will be very much appreciated and will be used for temporary housing, essentials, and rebuilding.
