Help Joe and Sherri After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
Hello, we are here to raise funds for a friend, neighbor, and one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. His name is Joe Eiting, a former US Air Force pilot, a devoted husband to Sherri, a former Air Force nurse, and proud father of two daughters, both devoting their careers to the US Military. Joe is someone who is quick to volunteer, help others, provide, prepare, and cook the food for neighborhood BBQs—whatever is needed. He is quick with his warm smile, a good story, joke, encouragement, or advice—always with a happy attitude. His wife volunteers on their HOA board, also helping others whenever asked!
He was involved in a late-night auto accident near his home while attempting to avoid a herd of javelinas. His pickup then hit a bush that rolled it several times. He was trapped all night and wasn't discovered until mid-morning the next day, his truck crushed. This required the many rescuers to use the jaws of life to extricate him. He was then airlifted to the hospital. His neck was broken and his spine severely injured. His amazing, positive mind and spirit remain strong, but as he and his family prepare to endure many more surgeries, much rehabilitation, transportation from home to the hospital an hour and a half away, equipment needs, home modifications, wheelchairs, car/van purchase and modifications, home care assistance, medical expenses, ongoing life expenses, etc., they need your financial support. Please join us in supporting this wonderful family who have lost their income, security, and lifestyle. God bless you for your compassion, kindness, and generosity!
