Support Joe Kozaczka's Long Road to Recovery

On November 5, 2024, Joseph Kozaczka was seriously injured in an accident at his home. Joe was airlifted to Dartmouth-Litchfield Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to repair severe injuries to his spine. Joe is still in the hospital but is expected to transfer to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this week.

Joe will need extensive physical therapy and has a very, very long road ahead of him. Joe’s rock, his wife Sandra, is at his side as she has always been. She will need to be with him as he begins his rehab. Sandy will need to stay at a hotel in Boston for the foreseeable future. As you can imagine, the cost associated with this in addition to medical expenses will be astronomical.

Over the past 15 years that I’ve known Joe and Sandy, I’ve been to many, many gatherings at their home, and I’ve seen the enormous family and friend network that they are blessed to have. Thank you all for reaching out and offering to do what you can.
