Help Joe and Renee Overcome Accident Aftermath
Hi, my name is Joe.
On Friday April 5th I left work at 4:30 pm and went to pick up my wife from her work. I never made it. I was in a rollover accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. I was already turning blue.
Luckily some amazing people pulled me from my truck and started CPR until the paramedics arrived and transported me to St. Joseph hospital. I went directly to ICU with 14 broken ribs and 2 punctured lungs. I was not able to breath on my own. I spent 7 days in the hospital and by the grace of God was realeased home. My wife and I will have minimal income for at least a month as I cannot work. Prior to all of this late last year I tore the tendon in my elbow and was not able to work for many months. Just 3 months ago Renee's new to her vehicle engine blew. We have been sharing a vehicle. Our daily trip to work is extremely long. Renee sits at work for 3 hours before she can punch in and start her day. But we were just starting to get out from under the water. Renee's family has given us a vehicle to use. Bills will be pilling up. 1 of the medications they want me on is $740.00 we are in need of some help with medical bills and daily living expenses.Yes there was insurance on the vehicle but there was also a loan on it. We thought there was Gap insurance but there was not. So anything the insurance pays out will go towards the loan. This is not something I would wish on anyone. I am grateful to be alive today because of a total stranger. They saved my life!!
Even if you can't donate we appreciate you reading and sharing our story. Anything will help. God bless you.
