Help Joe and His Family While He Recovers

My big brother Joey’s life took a drastic turn the morning of January 24, 2021. He suffered a tragic accident when a gas can blew up in his hand, causing severe 3rd degree burns to the front of his body – face, neck, torso, arms, hands, and legs. He is currently in critical condition in the ICU Burn Unit at John’s Hopkins hospital in Baltimore, MD, fighting for his life. Our family is devastated by the accident and are scrambling to make sense of our new reality.
My big brother is a talented mechanic by trade. He has been fixing anything with a motor since we were little kids. He is a genuinely gifted mechanic – it is his passion. But, Joe is best known for the work he does quietly for the friend or acquaintance that can’t afford to get their car fixed but needs it done to get to work. He would always say – aw, just catch me next time. Joey is a quiet hero to many, and I am so proud of my brother.
We don’t know when Joey will be able to return to the profession he loves, it will be a long journey to heal, and I want to do everything I can to help him - that starts with me humbly asking for your help. Joey’s family needs money to cover daily living expenses, rent, groceries, health insurance, medical bills, and all the things necessary to rebuild his life. Joe needs our help.
Joey supports the love of his life Samantha Blair, and his children Harlee, Mylee, Elliot, Aaron, Noah, and Caleb. Joey’s big family is everything to him. I know my big brother, and the second he regains consciousness, he will be worrying about his family and how they will survive financially without him. This is going to make the pain of his current circumstance profoundly unbearable. Please, let’s band together and help take care of my big brother Joe.
