In the early morning hours on the day before Thanksgiving, a fire broke out in a Mid-City apartment building, spreading to a second neighboring complex. A staff member of Flour Moon Bagels was awoken by a neighbor banging on his door. Joe was able to get out safely with his small dog, Banjo. All 15 residents were able to escape the burning building, but are all now displaced and have lost everything they own.

We are reaching out to our community for financial help to get Joe into a new apartment, buy new clothes, supplies, and furnishings. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
