For the past 5 years our dad has been on dialysis due to kidney failure. On Sunday November 10th he received a call that a donor had been found and flew to Toronto later that evening. The transplant was performed on Monday at 8 am and was a success. The recovery time is estimated 6-8 weeks, during which they will need to remain in Toronto to be close to the hospital. Since our parents aren't working during this time we are asking for any assistance with living expenses.(accommodations, food, etc.)
