Our dear friend Jody is facing the unimaginable loss of her fiance, Kaden, who passed away suddenly in a tragic accident.

Kaden had traveled to Alaska for his second season working as part of a salmon fishing boat crew, hoping to make good money for the life he and Jody were building together back home.

Just months ago, Jody and Kaden bought their first home together. Along with the devastating grief of losing her partner, Jody is now facing the financial realities of losing someone she shared a home and life with.

We are creating this fundraiser to give her some breathing room while she grieves and begins figuring out what comes next.

Funds raised will help with immediate living expenses, mortgage and household bills, food, transportation, and other unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss.

Our hope is that Jody can have the time and space to grieve Kaden without immediately having to worry about about how she is going to keep everything together financially.
