After six weeks of intensive treatment and rehabilitation in the hospital, Jody is back home, ready to tackle the road ahead. He is committed to his recovery, supported by regular visits from his physical therapists and the unwavering companionship of his loyal dog, Bandit, whose love brings him comfort during this trying time.

As Jody perseveres on his healing journey, he is also navigating financial pressures from medical bills with the inability to work. Despite the challenges, his spirit remains unbroken as he awaits his approval for Social Security disability. Jody has been self-employed in the interior and design industry majority of his life.
