Please Help Jody (82) Rebuild After Devastating Fire Loss
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Kindhearted Supporters,
On February 6, 2025, our dear neighbor Jody Black (82) lost her home in a devastating fire. Tragically, most of her belongings were either completely destroyed or severely damaged by the flames and smoke. While we are incredibly grateful that she is safe, she is now facing an unimaginable loss with little to no financial support to help her recover.
Due to recent changes in fire insurance policies, Jody’s original fire insurance was unexpectedly canceled. The alternative insurance she was able to secure does not cover internal fires—meaning she has no coverage to rebuild or replace what was lost. Now, in addition to the emotional toll of this disaster, she is left without the resources needed to start over.
Jody has always been a generous, caring neighbor—someone who would give the shirt off her back to help another in need. Now, it's our turn to come together and support her in this incredibly difficult time.
We are raising funds to help Jody with temporary housing, essential items, and the long and costly process of rebuilding her life. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference in helping her get back on her feet.
If you are unable to contribute financially, simply sharing this fundraiser and spreading the word is just as valuable. Let’s show Jody that she is not alone—that her community stands with her.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.
