My name is Jody and I've been diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's. This means that there is a significant amount of amyloid plaque on my brain. Currently there is no known cure. However, I choose a different perspective, one that is life affirming and sees my brain as differently abled. You see, about the time I started struggling with remembering things, I also became very intuitive. I have the ability to recognize when people and creatures are hurting, wear they are hurting, and be able to heal them with touch or energy. I am profoundly grateful that I am able to help and that I have a supportive group of people that appreciate this ability.

I do not charge individuals for healing, I have been designated as unable to work and, so I am relying on disability. I am working on healing myself! However, there are still many tests, scans, and other health conditions that need to be addressed. The reason I started this gofundme campaign, is to help with bills and to help me to travel around the world, healing others as I go. I feel called to do this, and I hope you can help.

I have a strong daily spiritual practice that is based in Earth Wisdom. This gives me a zest for life. I regularly meet with friends and teachers and I am grateful to have a supportive family and community of heart.

I do not look at this diagnosis as a death sentence, but as an opportunity to heal myself and others. I am a certified Earth Life Counselor and my love and intuition have helped many to get clarity on issues in their lives. This diagnosis is a wake up call to me to do all the things I have dreamed of doing! I wish to travel the world, learn about other cultures, make new friends, and spread love and healing. My goal is to travel as much as possible in the next 2 years.
