Help Jody and Jeremiah!

Hi all,

Our dear friend Jody had a nasty fall right after Christmas and shattered her kneecap. She had major surgery and is now a bionic woman with a bunch of screws holding her kneecap together. She can barely walk, let alone stand or cut hair! As you know, she is one of Santa Barbara's best hairstylists, which makes her an independent contractor and not eligible for disability i.e., no income! And you also know she is the most selfless, awesome mom of Jeremiah...solo. She and Jeremiah have a lot of normal household expenses like mortgage, space rent, and groceries, not to mention impending medical bills.

We also all know she is the most caring and generous person around. She is always housing a friend or two, and their animals, feeding any kid that comes over and generally taking care of everyone around her. Truthfully she wouldn't want it any other way, she loves her friends and family and would do (and does!) anything for them.

And she would hate that I did this for her. But I gotta. It's time for us to give back to JODY to make sure she doesn't lose that great home and to ensure their life won't be interrupted more than it already is.

No amount is too small. We are all struggling, but any amount helps. Thank you!

I'm sure snail mail cards would cheer them both up too!
