Hi, my name is Jodie Russell. I am a Trinidadian international student pursuing my master's in clinical psychology at Roosevelt University in Chicago. I am in my second year of my program and have recently encountered an unexpected financial strain due to a recent job loss within my family unit. The financial strain has fallen upon my other parent, who now has to work multiple jobs to secure funding for me to continue studying. I am unable to get a full-time job due to my status in the United States, and the money I do contribute is not substantial enough to make an impact. I am seeking $5000 USD to help pay off my fall 2025 semester school fees; this would allow me to continue studying and be one step closer to completing my degree. I would like to return home once my degree is completed to further expand my NGO, Project Psalm, which assists children with special needs to have equal opportunities to resources and healthcare services within the public sector in Trinidad and Tobago, while providing therapeutic services for children and their families.

Your donations and help no matter the size would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance for your assistance and your consideration of my cause. Below is a video attached which showcases what I have accomplished thus far in my NGO and why finishing my master's means so much to me.
