For the last week my mom, Jodie Allison, has been in the hospital with the worst full-body pain of her entire life from an unknown source. After a week of testing and fighting through everything, the source of all of this was diagnosed as AML Leukemia. She is so strong and will beat this! For the next 6 weeks at least, she will stay in the hospital going through chemotherapy and working towards recovery. My brother, Cooper, will be staying with me for the next two months as we go on this journey to help mom through her battle with cancer. While supporting her spirit and beating this disease is the main focus, medical expenses and normal bills are a serious concern as she will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
