Update: We appreciate all of the donations received so far. As additional details become available, it appears that we failed to factor in the monthly price of anti-rejection medications and other medical costs that are not covered by insurance. According to the experts, Jodi will also need a kidney transplant, as unfortunately that organ has been working overtime to support her. Given that these expenses may surpass $100,000.00, we are raising the goal amount. We sincerely hope to achieve that, but any donation is greatly appreciated.
Many of you are aware that Jodi has been battling liver disease for several years and has now reached a critical juncture where she urgently needs a liver transplant. Observing her undergo various tests, face hospitalization, experience a decline in her quality of life, and endure isolation has been profoundly painful. If you are familiar with Jodi, you know she embodies life, love, compassion, and possesses excellent comedic timing. Indeed, she serves as a remarkable example of how an individual can transform their life for the better and inspire those around them. Above all, she is simply one of the most exceptional individuals I have ever encountered. This is why witnessing her health deteriorate and her relentless struggle to survive has been truly heartbreaking.
Therefore, on behalf of her family, friends, children, and beloved dogs, we are reaching out for your assistance through donations. Transplant surgery is both complex and expensive, and the recovery process is long. Jodi is going to need funds to cover her regular expenses plus the inevitable medical expenses. Your contribution can make a significant difference. Any amount you are willing to donate would mean the world. We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. Please keep Jodi in your prayers and since I know Jodi will love this….
Keep calm and Liver on!
