Jodi became part of my husband's Bayada team in September 2020. She was a certified home health aide who was extremely caring, compassionate and dedicated to helping in Tim recovery.

Over the years, Jodi has become part of our family. Jodi is a mother of two adult children.

In August 2023, Jodi decided to further her education to become a LPN. She started the LPN Nursing program at PRISM. Jodi worked full time in our home while going to school full time in the evenings.

In February 2024, Jodi passed her NCLEX and officially became a LPN. She joined our Bayada team as a LPN.

In May 2024, Jodi graduated PRISM valedictorian of her class with a 4.0 GPA & received awards.

On February 13, Jodi went for a routine colonoscopy, where they found a tumor in her rectum. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer. She worked up until March 10, 2025. A few days later, she started Chemotherapy & Radiation.

On August 12 , Jodi had surgery to remove part of colon and part of rectum. While in surgery they also removed her ovaries & fallopian tubes. She now has a temporary ileostomy bag. In a few short weeks, she will have another surgery to reverse the ileostomy.

Jodi has used up all temporary disability, she has applied for permanent disability and is still waiting to hear back. The Cancer Center has helped Jodi with some bills, but being unable to work, with no income has been extremely stressful. I am asking for any donations to help Jodi.
