Help Jodi Rasmussen Lay Loved Ones to Rest

Story

This GoFundMe account is for my dear friend, Jodi Rasmussen, who has not asked for any help, as she is the one who gives it freely. With her permission, finally, she is grateful that I wanted to create a fundraiser for her. My friend has not been able to have funerals yet for her husband and mother-in-law, whom she lost within 2 months of each other. Until she is able to finish paying for all the cemetery burial fees and other expenses that were not planned for, she has not been able to have proper closure for her and the family or been able to give her loved ones their final resting place. Todd passed away at home due to serious medical conditions that hit quickly, on December 15, 2024, and her mother-in-law, Alta LaRue, passed away from a broken heart on February 17, 2025. Todd was her last living son, and she kept asking where he was every day until she passed. They were a close-knit family as they all lived with each other; even Jodi's daughter and granddaughters lived there and helped provide care for Alta. Anyone who knows Jodi knows she is a hard-working lady. She takes any challenges by the horns as she has with this situation. She took on extra shifts at work, driving semi-trucks 6 nights a week for 12-hour shifts to help save money needed for the funeral services/burial. She had hoped to have enough saved by June but unfortunately is very short as other issues with vehicles and household repairs had piled up. It takes a village and we all have days where we need help from loved ones and strangers. If you feel in your heart to help someone in need, who will spend the rest of her days paying it forward, I thank you in advance for your donations and for sharing this plea. Donations can also be sent directly to her Venmo account @Jodi-Rasumssen-4. Bless you for taking time to get to know Jodi's story.
