Jodi Vender has metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her spine, pelvic bone, and skull. She was diagnosed in August 2025. She is undergoing chemotherapy, which is slowly reducing the cancer, but is often exhausting. She has kept a wonderfully positive attitude, but this will be a long road as the doctor has called this "chronic". She has been out of work since May 2025, originally due to the extreme pain in her back. She and her family are burdened financially with the loss of income and the medical bills (deductibles and copays). Paid Family Medical Leave has run out, and she is waiting for approval for Medicare Disability. Jodi and her family are quick to help others, but now need help.
