My friend Jodi McFadden had a house fire last night (6/19/25). Her oldest daughter was home with their pets when it happened. She got out safely and so did the animals . The kitchen is a total loss. Smoke damage throughout the house. Several windows were broken from efforts to put the fire out, so they have plywood over windows. Unfortunately, she was between insurances, so this will not be covered under insurance. She is going to need to redo their kitchen, again, as she just recently redid it. Because of the smoke damage, she is going to need to replace their clothes and funiture, probably more. I'm going to get a list of all the items and update this when I can. UPDATE: They just had an electrician there to get their power back on....the bill for that is $3,000
