October 3rd, 2024 Jodi underwent a second back surgery to fix broken rods and to add more for stabilization. Less than a month later she was admitted to the ICU where she almost died due to serious infection caused by the surgery. Since then she has been on a very slow recovery journey. After months of a PIC line, a new bone graft, and continued antibiotics that she is still on today, she has just recently been able to start working again.

Jodi and her wife Dawn have been struggling to play catch up after months of Jodi not working. On top of that, the medical bills that have come from all of this, are overwhelming.

As Jodi's daughter, I have watched them continue to struggle and try to make ends meet as she has pushed herself to start working again. I've watched her go to conferences with a smile, and then break down from the exhaustion afterwards. It's what she does and who she is. She will ALWAYS show up for her family! It just hasn't been enough to get them out of the hole they've been put in.

After time and much persuasion, she has finally agreed to allow me to do this for her and Dawn.

So I'm asking the ones who know and love her, to show up and show a little support!! To help them get caught up on mortgage, car payments, medical debt and all the other things that were put on the backburner while she focused on her health. ANY contribution will help!
