Wheelchair and medical equipment for Joaquin

Hello! We are fundraising for a new wheelchair and medical equipment for our son Joaquin Galvan.

Joaquin is 7 years old and was born premature at 27 weeks. As a result, he bled from the brain and developed hydrocephalus. He spent 4 months in the NICU where he underwent 3 neurosurgeries. He has a vp shunt, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a feeding tube. At the moment he can not sit on his own, walk, or talk, but he is working very hard in getting there. He has been getting physical and occupational therapy since coming home. Joaquin is a vibrant little boy and he amazes us every day. Unfortunately, our insurance doesn't cover certain medical equipment. He has outgrown his current wheelchair and is in need of a new one. Joaquin will need this chair for school and will help us greatly with his transportation. We are trying to raise money so we can get him a new wheelchair customized to his medical needs. Any and all donations will go towards medical equipment for Joaquin and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
