There is someone very special in my life that is in need. Our beloved João, a true warrior, has been diagnosed with Edward's Syndrome, also known as trisomy 18. This rare genetic disorder brings immense challenges, but we are committed to ensuring that João has the best possible quality of life.

João is a 2-year-old who continues to inspire us every day with his strength, resilience, and infectious spirit. Despite facing numerous medical complications associated with trisomy 18, João is a beacon of joy in our lives. He has an incredible capacity to bring love and light into our world.

Caring for a child with trisomy 18 comes with significant financial burdens. João cannot walk, stand, or sit by himself. He needs a tracheotomy tube to breathe and a feeding tube to eat. Medical treatments, therapies, and specialized equipment are not only necessary but also expensive. Additionally, João deserves experiences that can enrich his life and bring happiness.
