Help My Sister and I Stay Housed During Crisis

Hi, my name is Joanne Desmond, and I’m asking for your help in a time of urgent need.

My sister and I are at risk of losing our home. We’re facing over $15,000.00 in critical living expenses, over the next few months and we are simply out of options. Our rent is $3,550 per month and we’re trying to stay housed through December while my sister continues to recover

from a traumatic accident.

Several months ago, a large tree branch came crashing through our windshield while we were driving, impaling my sister in the abdomen causing severe internal injuries. She endured two major surgeries and spent 35 days in the hospital. She's still in recovery and will need another surgery soon. She also struggles with serious mental health challenges. Being displaced or homeless would be catastrophic for her well-being.

We're trying to raise $15,000.00 to cover our rent for the next several months and pay down our past due bills.
