Help Joanne McGillicuddy Recover After Devastating Hit & Run
Donation protected
On Wednesday, March 19th, our friend and beloved Black Rock community member Joanne McGillicuddy was gravely injured by a hit-and-run driver while on her way to volunteer with the Woven Community at the Burroughs Community Center on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport.
Joanne sustained serious injuries including two broken legs, one broken arm, and a broken clavicle. She will require multiple surgeries, blood transfusions, and ongoing medical treatment, as well as rehabilitation.
Former owner of Home on the Range, Joanne is hospitalized at St. Vincent's Medical Center. We greatly appreciate the care she is receiving while there.
Facing a long and protracted recovery, we have set up this GoFundMe to cover medical bills, rehabilitation, and other essential expenses during this challenging time.
Your support will make a world of difference as we navigate this difficult situation together. Every donation goes toward ensuring Joanne receives the care she needs to get back on her feet. Thank you.
