Hello, my name is Josy, I have done crowd funding before but it has been a very long time. I usually only use it as a last resort these days. Unfortunately, times have been rough on us all and I have found myself in a financial crisis. I also am having surgery next week. I decided I could turn to the power of seeking help and team work online via my community and friends.

I have been on my lease and renting an apartment for 2 years. My boyfriend covers the bills but he’s quite in debt. I had difficultly finding work and a job I could keep. I worked at ten different horse ranches, a doggy daycare, two preschools and I did house cleaning within the past couple years while renting. I am also quite in debt. I do have assistance with food via EBT but they told me it will be cut off unless I work 80 hours a month. I have a job currently at a horse farm, but it doesn’t reach the hours required.

We are already over a week late on our rent and we only have a week to make $1800 so we aren’t evicted and we can re sign the lease. I don’t want to lose this apartment because I would need to get another storage unit after paying for one for 3 years. My credit is also bad so I wouldn’t be able to get another place or even pay the deposit! I have a small dog so it’s hard to stay with friends or get roomies. She’s older and I really would like to keep this space to give her the best life possible.
