(A Message from my Mother):

Hello everyone,

 

My daughter, Joanna, was shot three times during a carjacking situation in Warren, Michigan. One in the stomach, rupturing her intestines, and two more in her right leg, resulting in a massive amount of blood loss, almost losing her leg altogether, shattering her femur, damaging muscles, and potentially needing a skin graph as well. She has already undergone surgery for seven to eight hours for her abdomen and will require a second major surgery for bone reconstruction. We ask that if you can, help us and Joanna in getting back on her feet and paying the piling up bills considering that she cannot work at all right now and is a single mother of two beautiful, happy, healthy, young boys, JoShawn (5) and Amari (2), that need to be taken care of while living with their uncle Jared. She also has two beautiful daughters, Jewell and Makaya, that are in school.
