I feel extremely vulnerable having to do this, I can only hope people will please help..

My name is JoAnna. I am a survivor of verbal domestic violence from my stepfather. Unfortunately, he was the person who had a vehicle that I had access to since both of my parents have passed away. I was able to escape from his abuse, but to avoid homelessness I moved to a small town that is not close to anything within walking distance.

Medicabs are unreliable. Most of the time, they either don't show up or show up late, which causes missed appointments.

I am extremely grateful for my best friend's parents for helping me when they can in the meantime, but it's not fair that I burden them.

I'm on SSI due to PTSD, anxiety, dextroscoliosis and degenerative disc disease, etc.

Being that SSI pays so little, it has made it impossible for me on my own to be able to save and afford a down payment for a vehicle.

My wish to achieve stability is getting a vehicle of my own because I've been trying to find a job where I wouldn't need transportation to get to it but that's also proven to be impossible.

I'm desperate for help to gain my stability and go back to work so I can live more comfortably with my 3 dogs and 2 my cats (whom I took in when my mom passed away).
