Hello. My name is Jessica and this fundraiser is for my mom, JoAnna. On March 9th, my mom unexpectedly went to the hospital. She was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and had blood clots leading from her brain. She was able to be discharged, but only home for 3 days. She then had to go back to the hospital and the Drs diagnosed her with having a stroke. She has been in the hospital since March 16th. She did get released to an inpatient rehab facility and has been there since Saturday March 29th.

Obviously, this massive hospital stay was not planned, and they have run all sorts of tests. So not only does she have 2 ambulance calls, she's got an almost month-long stay at the hospital, plus all the scans, tests, and medicines they have done, and now an almost 2 week stay at the rehab facility. I'm unsure of the cost of anything, but it is clearly not something she is prepared to have to pay. Thankfully, she has insurance, but we don't know how or what will be paid. We are simply asking for just a little support so my mom doesn't have to worry about finances and can focus on getting better. We appreciate all and any support we may be given. Thank you.
