Hello everyone, my name is Joanna. In 2020 I moved to an area with my husband in the woods on a desolate dirt road. I quickly realized that the area was a hot spot for people who dump off unwanted cats and kittens. I soon started feeding and building shelters around my property for them. I have tried to get the local animal control to help with a trap and release but all they are willing to do is come euthanize them. I refused that and have continued to care for them out of pocket. At this point I have 28 total that I feed. Unfortunately my husband passed away in 2024. I was left with very little financially after his passing and I currently am still fighting for disability because of multiple autoimmune disorders I have. I thankfully have been able to continue to keep a roof over my head and have found resources to help me eat however I have not found any programs to help me continue to feed these poor unwanted cats. Any donation I receive is greatly appreciated and will go directly to the cost of food for them.
