I'm trying to help out my friend Joanna, a proud Canadian patriot and nationalist known on X as @BlondeBigot11. She is going through a really difficult time and needs some support to avoid becoming homeless.

A few years ago, Joanna was in a serious accident when she was hit by a drunk driver that left her on a long term disability pension.

Until recently had a 3-bedroom house in Vancouver where she raised her two daughters. But with the sharp rise in the cost of food, utilities, fuel, and rent over the past year, she lost the house and had to move in with a friend in Edmonton.

Both of her daughters had to move with her ex, still in Vancouver.

All of Joanna's things and memories are stored in a unit that costs $350 every month. Right now she is staying with a friend, but the landlord wants her to leave because she is not on the lease. In just a few weeks, Joanna will have nowhere to go, along with her two pets — her rescue cat (who she bottle-fed as a tiny kitten) and her dog.

Even with her disability pension, finding an affordable place to rent in Canada right now is incredibly hard. There just aren't many options available that she can manage.

I started this campaign for her because Joanna was too embarrassed to ask for help herself. She is a proud person, but the situation has become too serious to ignore.

The money raised will go directly toward:

• First and last month's rent plus the security deposit

• Moving costs and getting a few basic things set up

• Keeping up with the storage unit so she doesn't lose everything she owns

• Bills and pet food while she gets back on her feet

Any amount, big or small, will make a difference. Even if you can only share the campaign, that helps more than you know. Joanna and her animals just need a little kindness right now to stay safe and together. Thank you so much for reading this and for anything you can do.
