Help Joanna and Chris in their time of need!

Today we are reaching out on behalf of Joanna Waters and her family.

Our dear friend Joanna has been involved in a terrible traffic accident.

Joanna is a loving wife, proud mother of three beautiful children, lover of animals, collector of “pretty” things and grower of beautiful blooms. Those who know Joanna, know her warmth, whimsical and wistful joy. She is truly a beautiful and generous person who has touched the lives of her family, friends and patients.

Tragically she was travelling to work to commence her shift as a clinical nurse specialist in Port Macquarie when she was involved in a life altering car accident. This terrible accident has left Joanna with multiple life-threatening injuries. She was airlifted to Newcastle John Hunter Hospital where she remains ventilated in intensive care. Joanna and her family are facing a challenging journey, the physical and emotional toll is immense. That's why we are reaching out to our community for financial support.

Whilst Joanna is in hospital in Newcastle, her husband Chris and three amazing children are staying in temporary accommodation. They are commuting back and forward to their small farm three hours away. The costs associated with this are quickly adding up and we anticipate a long journey ahead. Your generous support will enable Joanna to access the necessary treatments needed to fight this battle whilst helping to keep her family by her side. Every gesture of kindness is deeply appreciated.
