Help Joanna After Cancer and Fire Tragedy

Hello, my name is Jennifer. One of my dearest and oldest friends is currently battling inoperable cancer. Her name is Joanna Hankins and we have known each other since we were in diapers. (She is on the left in this pic) I have no words for her current condition, except, it's not fair! She does not deserve this!

A few things about Joanna, she is caring, loyal, loving, fun and hard headed (lol)! Joanna and I have some great memories together and I am currently at a loss as to how to help her. She has been married for over 35 years and has 1 son and 1 grandchild.

Joanna was diagnosed on September 1, 2024 and told the cancer had spread to all her organs. They did try to do some radiation, but unfortunately this is a fast and cruel cancer. She is currently in hospice.

Last week there was a fire at her house and she lost her

husband and her 2 doggies. I cannot for the life me describe the pain and sorrow that she is going through at the moment. This tragedy makes it even harder on her to fight this awful disease!

I have never done a Go Fund Me page before, but I know Joanna would not ask for help on her own.
