Help JoAnn & Whiz Recover from Flooding in Home

Donation protected

As a result of damaging floods from Hurricane Ida, our sister and brother-in-law have been forced to leave their home. The Wismers (JoAnn and Whiz) have enjoyed living along the Perkiomen Creek in Harleysville for 24 years.

Rainfall and flash flooding from this latest storm caused the creek to rise and enter their single-level home to take in over 3 feet of water, damaging the flooring and structure beyond repair.

JoAnn and Whiz are wonderful, helpful and generous people. We have so many memories of special family gatherings and times on their acre of land. We join in their grieving at the situation, and want to offer any assistance possible. JoAnn recently celebrated her retirement from her service in the public school system, and they need our assistance now more than ever.

Please spread the word and if you are able, to donate any amount that you can. JoAnn and Whiz will receive any donations raised directly, and money will go to whatever they need at this time (a place to stay, replacing damaged or lost items, food, gas, etc). until they are able to get on their feet.

Thank you for any help you can offer!
