Help Joana's Breast Cancer Treatment Med Bills

Joana Chaikoviski moved here from Argentina over 20 years ago. She was born to missionary parents and married her husband for over 28 years. She has one adult daughter that is currently in school. She was unexpectedly diagnosed in December 2021 with Stage 3 breast cancer. She is a teacher at Calvary Christian Academy and has worked at CCA for over 13 years. She will start chemotherapy this month to shrink the tumor,  then have surgery to remove the shrunken tumor. After the surgery, she will need chemo and also radiation. This is an unexpected expense for Ms. Joana and her family.

 

From the first day we met Ms. Joana, we fell in love. Our children adore her, as do we. Ms. Joana is like a grandmother to our children and all of the CCA children she is with on a daily basis. Her love for our little ones is undeniable. Anyone who has had the pleasure of having a child in her class adores her. There is a sense of comfort knowing that someone is going to love and care for our children as we do. We have always said how blessed we are to have her in our lives and our children’s lives. We are believing as a family for full recovery so that she can continue to run, play and teach our children.

 

Her devastating medical diagnosis has a significant emotional and financial impact on all who love her, especially her husband and daughter. Anyone who knows Joana knows that she would be the first to support anyone in a time of need with her vibrancy, love, and kindness. So we are humbly asking for your financial support. Something that Joana and her family will need in the days ahead. We hope that she can focus all of her energy on treatment and healing by easing some financial worry.
