As many of you know, our dear friend Joan Derbyshire is undergoing treatment for cancer. She has beaten back this demon before, several times in fact. We all know how strong and resilient she is, and of course, Sunny has been a stalwart ally. But the battle is costly, both emotionally and financially. Insurance covers most, but not all her expenses. Many of her friends have wondered what we can do to help, especially since she is an ocean away from most of us.
