Help Joan after apartment fire

Joan lost everything in a devastating apartment fire on Dec. 21, 2022. She got out with the clothes on her back, her purse, and her medications. I've been in touch with the heroes who got her to safety, and witnessed first hand the amazing outpouring of support from the community as I got her registered with the Red Cross, and got some basic necessities for her from the donations that poured in overnight.

So many of you have asked what you can do to help. For now, she will be moving in with us, taking up residence in our lower level where she will have her own bedroom, full bath, and kitchenette. Any of you who know my mom know that she does not accept help willingly, but we don't yet know the full scope of what she will need.
