Help Jo Ann and Family Rebuild After Hurricane Milton
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
My name is Jo Ann Levins, I’m a single mother born and raised in New York, and I’ve been living in Florida for the past 12 years. My children moved down to Florida to be with me, and we’ve built a life together here. Unfortunately, our world was turned upside down when Hurricane Milton caused severe damage to our home, leaving us in desperate need of repairs. With limited resources, I’m reaching out for help to make these much-needed repairs and restore a sense of stability for my family. Any donation to my GoFundMe will make a huge difference, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support.
As we stood outside watching our home fall apart, the only thing that gave us strength was knowing we still had each other. But now, we face the daunting reality of starting over.
We are beyond grateful to have survived, but now we need your help to rebuild our lives.
We understand that times are hard for everyone, and any contribution—no matter how small—will make a difference in our journey to recovery. As I am now homeless, your donation would assist in temporary housing and rebuilding a new home where we can begin to heal from this trauma. We are truly hopeful that the house is not fully condemned by the storm. In the worst case scenario in which it is condemned, your donations would also contribute towards replacing roofing, ceilings, foundational support, lost furniture, car port, outdoor porch, sidings for the house, and more.
Even if you cannot donate, sharing our story with others would mean the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and thank you for being part of our recovery. We are forever grateful for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
With heartfelt thanks,
Jo Ann and Family
