Help Jo Ann and Amber with Jerry's Final Costs

Story

Hello all, My name is Timmy and I am starting this fundraiser to help two good friends of mine. Jerry Lee West passed away near the end of May . Jerry was husband to Jo Ann "Ducky" West and father to Amber West. Jerry was a hard-working, kind-hearted man with a soft spot for animals (with dogs winning the race by a little). Jerry and Jo Ann met in 1974 and they were married in 1977. Jerry took pride in his work. He truly loved what he did for a living. He was always interested in working with electronics. He owned and operated an electronics repair shop in Myrtle Beach before the family moved to FL. Once in FL Jerry was part of the opening team for Universal Studios Citywalk. Jerry worked for Universal as a Tech Service Lead in the A/V department since 1998 WITH PERFECT ATTENDANCE!!! Jerry enjoyed sci-fi movies. He LOVED watching Star Wars with Jo Ann and Amber. Amber recalls watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy with her Dad often. She credits him with getting her into "nerdy" things. He loved good food, especially Mexican cuisine. Jo Ann and Amber did not have funds set aside for Jerry's final arrangements. They had to borrow money to pay for the cremation and services. This has added financial worries to the pile of grief that they are trying to wade through. The arrangements came in at $6,500 and change. While it would be amazing to raise the full amount, any bit helps reduce their debt and stress. Whether you knew Jerry directly or not, please consider helping his remaining family.
