Help JJ's Makery stay part of the neighborhood

Our business has had some predictable troubles, having started in October 2020 on a wing and a prayer after an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity fell in our laps and we had to take a chance on it. We have persevered so far, but things are catching up.

We're having a hard time, y'all, and we haven't been in business long enough to qualify for a "real" loan. We've gone the GoFundMe route before to get us going, and now we need your help again. It feels awful to ask, but things are getting pretty tight.  We have 3 full-time employees, including myself, and one part-time cake decorator, so our output is rather limited until we can hire someone else.

We will use the funds to secure paychecks for our employees while sales are down and hopefully hire someone else to help, as well as to purchase ingredients and additional packaging, labeling and display materials so we can move forward with manufacturing and pursue wholesale accounts.   We'd also like to be able to earmark some of that for advertising.  There have been some major changes recently and we are all adapting to the way we have to do things.

We'd like to think we've made at least a small positive impact on  the community during our short time here, and clearly we have to find a way to make it more lucrative moving forward, but I think we've done right by people.  We appreciate everyone who has supported us so far, we love our customers and we hope to continue to be your favorite neighborhood bakery for years to come.
