Help JJ and Andrew Defeat Muscular Dystrophy

On April 1st 2019...
I wish my nightmare was just another April fool’s joke...
We went to a clinic for some blood work results and were told JJ had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. A disease common in boys with no known cure. He told me in a few years your son will no longer walk and won’t live past his 20’s. Our entire family fell apart with the news.
If that wasn’t already heartbreaking enough, we had to get JJ’s baby brother Andrew tested now. Surely enough, I now had two boys with DMD and nothing to look forward to.
A few days went by and I was finally able to get myself together. I researched anything and everything there is to know about DMD. I came across a lot and one thing that stood out was something called stem cells in India, that never left me since.
Stem cells were first used to treat Duchenne in Panama City, Panama. I wondered what if? But never thought possible.
A year later thanks to our friends the Gunther’s and the Hamilton’s we went to a clinic for JJ’s first ever stem cell infusion.
JJ was already struggling to walk, getting tired every day and falling continuously. After the stem cell treatment he is now able to walk all day and look completely exhausted. He is also falling a lot less as well.
Without a doubt I knew this is what they need and what I wanted for them. JJ is now 9 and Andrew 3. Both love Bendy and The Ink Machine and enjoy dancing to the songs. While JJ loves to draw and paint his brother loves to run and pretend he is a superhero. They both like to jump, run and play sports all the things any normal boy does on a daily basis.
There is no time to waste, they need help now before they lose their ability to just be boys. To enjoy life and live a long one at that.
What the Money will be used for...
100% of the money raised will go towards the purchase of the stem cells that JJ and Andrew need for their treatments.
