Help Jim's Meats after their devestating fire.

As most of you are aware by now this past Sunday August 29th our beloved “Meat Dealers” as I like to call them, Minnie and Mark were notified of a fire that started in one of their basement coolers that morning at the West Side Market. Jim’s Meats has been a staple at the West side Market for 26 years now and they will have to start over. The sad thing is at this time they don’t even know when they will be allowed to start over. This brings so many worries both emotionally and financially hence why we are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help ease some of the worries. This wasn’t an easy agreement by them as it is never easy asking for help.

If you’re like me, a “MEAT ADDICT” that visit’s their dealer frequently and considers them more than just your dealer, but friends and possibly even family as well. You know how hard they have worked these last fifteen months during the pandemic just to keep their business going. And just before the pandemic hit as many know they unfortunately suffered the tragic loss of their beloved son, Orion. That kept them out of business as well for two months. Let’s also be honest on top of the pandemic and tragic loss. They have also had to work around some less-than-ideal working conditions provided by the city of Cleveland. Which, prior to the fire, have kept them out of work as well.

After putting this all into perspective, this is again why we “MEAT ADDICTS” and friends are asking for support from those able. It can be as little as a simple share of this campaign or a monetary donation if able. No amount is too small as it all adds up.
