Hey everyone, this my stepdad Jimmy.

Himself and my mom moved back up here from Charleston last year to help me with my little guy and also to be closer to him. Unfortunately, his health has been declining over this last year, and he was recently told he needed a heart transplant. They will need to travel to MUSC in Charleston SC in order to have several tests done over the next few weeks/months, in order to get on the transplant list. The first of these tests will start on Monday October 13th. All of the appointments and testing he has done up here, have already taken a toll on their finances and savings. They are not the type of people to ask for help, but with traveling back and forth for the next couple months, will be a bigger financial burden for them. I would love to help them, since they selflessly moved up here to help me. Any amount donated would help them with the travel expenses it would cost, so he could make his doctor appointments.
