Jimmy is a 14 year old black and white tegu. In the last week, his condition has taken a massive decline. He is suffering from a distended belly, blocked lower abdomen, and in the last two days has become massively dehydrated and gaunt to the degree i can feel bones i have never felt before on his back. This is extremely dire. I have already spent a monstrous sum on diagnostics, interim medicines, and fluids while he gains his strength back - but despite that, we still don’t know what it is yet. We are holding on with literally every fiber of my being. I spend every night in his hospitalization room on an air mattress, and i genuinely pray you find my son a worthy cause to save. I quit my job to do my absolute best to bring him back to his health - as he needs constant monitoring but is far too large for boarding facilities. It will be about a week in the interim until i am given a diagnosis; but i will post updates with precisely the costs incurred and care required going forward for transparency reasons. Here he is hospitalized in our improvised care room currently.

Please god, help me save my son. There is no other thing on this planet more important to me.

A cent, a buck, literally anything will help. His strength has declined to the point he was just defecating and couldn’t move himself without my help. It’s getting better, but it takes my entire time and i cannot afford a full time job when he needs my full attention to survive healthily right now. This is the most desperate he and i have ever been, and we are grateful for ANY assistance rendered.
