Two years ago, my husband Jimmy developed an eye infection that changed our lives. Since then, he has bravely faced multiple surgeries in hopes of saving his sight. Despite our best efforts, the cornea transplant didn’t take, and now he’s developed a cataract in his other eye. The doctors say another surgery is needed soon to keep him from going blind.

We have done everything we can—emotionally and financially—to support Jimmy’s recovery. Our savings are gone, and insurance only covers a portion of the costs. The thought of him losing his vision is overwhelming, but I am determined to do everything possible to help him.
