Please Help Jimmy Recover from Motorcycle Accident

We are creating this campaign for Jimmy Garza & his wife, children & step children.  Jimmy works for us at Hans Boat Works.  Jimmy is a hardworking man who works day & night to provide for his family.  We think the world of Jimmy, as a man, as an employee and especially as such a loving husband & father.   

On the beautiful Sunday afternoon of June 6, Jimmy’s wife, Melissa, got the call that no one wants to receive.  Jimmy was in a terrible accident not far from home. Jimmy was unable to avoid hitting a Suburban that didn’t see him & turned left in front of him (the cause of 42% of all motorcycle accidents)  Jimmy was riding his Yamaha R1.  He had just got for his a birthday only 3 weeks before.  He had just left his home in Visalia for a quick run to the store when tragedy struck.

Thankfully, Jimmy’s life was spared, but it has been changed forever.  Unfortunately, Jimmy sustained life threatening injuries.  His injuries were so severe that our local trauma center felt he needed to be airlifted 4 hours away to a level 1 trauma center in San Jose for multiple surgeries.  His physical pain is/was immense.

With medical bills mounting and the loss of income, combined with his wife Melissa’s  desire to be near her husband during his recovery, the need for financial assistance is becoming a reality.  This GoFundMe has been set up to assist Melissa & Jimmy with these costs.  No donation is too small, every dollar donated is appreciated beyond words.  

In addition to the support we have already provided, I pledge to match the first $500.00 donated to this GoFundMe campaign.

Jimmy & Melissa  are blessed and grateful for the many friends, family and co- workers & even strangers  who have reached out with prayers, emotional support and inquiries about what they can do to help.  Please continue to pray for Jimmy’s  recovery.
