Hello everyone! As many of you know, my long-term partner and main support system Jimmy was hospitalized in November for a cold that progressed into severe pneumonia. Things got worse and worse, and he eventually was placed into an induced coma and intubated to give his body time to heal. Jimmy is a fighter, and since then, he has woken back up and is recovering as best as he can. However, the trauma was intense, so he is still in the hospital and unable to walk. His recovery is going to be a slow, difficult, and we have a ways to go until he can recover in the comfort of our home.

Since becoming my partner, Jimmy has stepped up and become a father figure to my 4 children. Our alternating schedules made it possible for me to pursue my dreams of becoming a teacher. Without Jimmy, it has been increasingly hard to manage normal life expenses, and the medical bills have begun piling up as well.

I am doing the best I can as a single mother to remain afloat, but it has gotten to the point where I realized I need to turn to my village for support. Please consider giving what you can so that our family can make it through this difficult time. Thank you!
