In the early hours of June 7th, a fire broke out in the apartment unit below Jimmy & Michael’s home. At the time, Jimmy was sleeping with his beloved dog Daisy when he was woken by smoke filling his room. He looked out the window and saw flames and he was luckily able to get himself and Daisy to safety without even shoes on his feet. An absolutely terrifying and traumatizing situation has left Jimmy and Michael without anything. If you know Jimmy, you know he was an avid sports collector including so many cherished memorabilia of his famous Little League World Series team and of Michael’s entire hockey career. So many things that can never be replaced, but we are so lucky and thankful that everyone made it out safely.

Jimmy is on a low income pension and was lucky to have been renting an apartment that was affordable. With the current housing market our biggest concern is finding him a new place to live. The goal of this go fund me is to raise funds to help pay for first and last month’s rent, help subsidize his monthly rental expenses, and to purchase furniture and other necessities.

Jimmy would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need and he hates asking for help, but I hope we can come together in his time of need to alleviate some stress and help him find a new home ❤️
