Help Jimmy Pawlowski Fight for His Life ❤️

On the evening of Wednesday, September 16, 2026, my husband, Jimmy Pawlowski, 53, of Norway, Maine, was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident in Windham, Maine.

Jimmy was riding his 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Tandberg Trail (Route 115) when he was involved in a collision with a white Kia sedan. According to the preliminary police investigation, the Kia was traveling eastbound while Jimmy was traveling westbound.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Windham Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Team.

Jimmy was seriously injured and is currently at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, where he is fighting for his life.

He has suffered a collapsed lung, a broken leg, a broken arm, and a torn carotid artery. He also suffered a severe brain injury that required doctors to perform emergency surgery to open his skull and relieve pressure on his brain.

Our family is praying, hoping, and holding onto every bit of hope that Jimmy will make it through this.

Jimmy is so much more than what happened to him on September 16th.

Jimmy is an incredible husband, father, friend, and hardworking man. He has one daughter, who loves him dearly.

He’s the kind of person who can make people laugh when they need it most. He’s funny, loving, thoughtful, and always tries to look at the bright side, even when life gets difficult.

Jimmy has also dedicated many years of his life to serving others as a firefighter.

For years, Jimmy was someone people could count on when they were having one of the worst days of their lives. He responded when people needed help and dedicated his time to helping and protecting others. Through his years as a firefighter, he helped many people and became part of a community that knew they could depend on him.

Jimmy spent so much of his life showing up for other people. Now he needs us to show up for him.

He was simply out enjoying one of the last beautiful days before the cold Maine weather arrived, riding his motorcycle — something he loved.

None of us could have imagined that he would leave that evening and end up fighting for his life.

Now our family needs help.

Jimmy has been a major provider for our family. While I am spending my days and nights at the hospital by his side, I am also facing the reality of trying to keep our household going while worrying about Jimmy, our family, bills, and what the future will bring.

The road ahead is uncertain, and his recovery could be long.

There will be medical expenses, lost income, household bills, transportation costs, and many other unexpected expenses as Jimmy begins this fight.

I don’t want to have to choose between being beside my husband during the fight of his life and trying to keep our family financially afloat.

That’s why I’m asking for help.

Please help us bring Jimmy home. ❤️

If Jimmy has ever touched your life, made you laugh, helped you when you needed it, stood beside you, or simply been someone you could count on, please consider helping us now.

Every donation matters.

Whether you can give $5, $20, $50, or more, it will help our family navigate the days and months ahead.

And if you aren’t able to donate, please share this fundraiser.

A share could reach someone who knows Jimmy from his years as a firefighter, someone who knows him through work, a friend from the community, a fellow rider, or simply someone who believes in helping a family through an unimaginable time.

Most importantly, please pray for Jimmy.

Pray for his brain to heal.
Pray for his body to fight.
Pray for his doctors and nurses.
Pray for his daughter.
Pray for our family.
And pray that Jimmy comes home to us.

Jimmy has spent years helping other people through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Now it’s our turn to help carry him through his.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I know one thing:

Jimmy is loved.

He has a family waiting for him.
A daughter who needs her dad.
A wife who needs her husband.
Friends who aren’t ready to say goodbye.
And so many people who are praying for him to come home.

Come on, Jimmy. Fight. ❤️

Thank you to every person who donates, shares, sends a message, says a prayer, or simply takes a moment to think about Jimmy and our family.

Your kindness means more to us than we could ever put into words.

With love and gratitude,
Jimmy’s family ❤️
