Help Jimmy Hoxie Expand Ginger's Bread & Co

Hi there!

I'm Jimmy Hoxie. My husband and I own and operate a bakery in Memphis, TN. I grew up in Memphis and graduated with honors from Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Ginger's Bread & Co began in 2020 when I was let go from my baking position during lockdown. I began baking out of the kitchen of an income property. Our business grew, and we sold the property to open our current storefront on Union Ave. Due to supply chain and build-out costs at the time, we were unable to afford to build out a kitchen. We have been renting a shared kitchen space. Unfortunately, that space will be closing at the end of April.

We are working on expanding our business to a second storefront, classroom, and kitchen space on Main St. In addition to our sourdough breads and pastries, we will also offer breakfast, lunch, catering, and culinary classes.

With your help, we will be able to complete construction, moving, and startup costs. Fingers crossed, we are hoping to open this fall.
